Surgery

Should your pet require surgery, our team will work together to make sure that everything is done to the highest standards. This will start with a complete diagnostic consultation and examination prior to admission. We have a fully equipped operating theatre with the most up to date equipment for sterilization, anaesthesia and analgesia. After surgery your pet will be transferred to our recovery ward where they will be closely monitored. Pain management and supportive care helps to speed up recovery and make the patient as comfortable as possible.

For routine surgery we will admit pets before their operation and monitor their overall health before carrying out the procedure. We offer a telephone reminder service the night before the surgery to ensure pets are fasting for 12 hours before surgery. We will also provide routine updates on the progress during the post-surgery recovery stage.

Upon discharge from the hospital a full brief will be given regarding the procedure carried out as well as aftercare and medication.

Dentistry

Windsor Animal Hospital has the latest in dental care for your pet. After a thorough oral examination, we can offer scaling and polishing to clean teeth, extraction of decayed teeth or temporary teeth. We also carry general teeth cleaning and oral healthcare products.
